| Conception
and Development |
The UMDNJ Center for Teaching Excellence was conceived and developed
as a service for the health professions community by the Stuart
D. Cook, M.D. Master Educator's Guild, under the leadership of Craig
L. Scanlan, EdD. Development of the Center was supported in part
by the Educational Technology Grant Program of the Academic Information
Technology Advisory Committee (AcITAC), and was undertaken in close
working collaboration with the University's Digital Media and Academic
Computing Services. The following individuals were instrumental

The Center operates on a UNIX platform employing a variety of technologies,
including Macromedia's Coldfusion server for scripting and page
processing and MySQL for data warehousing. |
