Hardware Basics. Provides details on computer hardware, including BIOS, cables, CD-ROM, chipsets, CPU, IDE & SCSI hard drives, ISA & PCI bus, memory, mice, modems, monitors & displays, motherboards, printers, ports (parallel, serial, USB), scanners, and network, sound and video cards. Tutorials & Tips on Powerpoint. Covers use of Powerpoint 97, 2000 and XP presentation software. The Internet & World Wide Web. Provides lessons and tips for effective use of the Internet and World Wide Web. Learning HTML. Provides basic, intermediate and advance lessons on how to create effective Web pages using hypertext markup language (HTML).
